Aircraft Twirls Wildly into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Coast
An aircraft hovering over a crowded California coastline suddenly started spinning out of control, eventually descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Videos shared on the internet show the aircraft commencing to spiral over Huntington Beach then falling in the direction of the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck between palms and a steps adjacent to the shoreline route.
Rescue Operation Update
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were rushed to the hospital involving a pair who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” after the incident on Saturday.
Three persons on the pavement were hurt. Information on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
Planned Function
The department mentioned the aircraft was connected to an yearly “Cars N Copters” benefit occasion planned for the following day.
